Ceramic Grinding Media
Wear-resistant ceramic grinding media are high-performance grinding materials used in industrial crushing and milling processes. Featuring high hardness, excellent wear resistance, and long service life, they are suitable for various grinding equipment such as ball mills and vibration mills.
The 92% alumina ceramic grinding balls are made from microcrystalline Al₂O₃ using ultrafine powders, formed by pelletizing and sintered at high temperature. Also known as inert alumina ceramic balls, they offer high temperature and pressure resistance, low water absorption, and excellent chemical stability. They resist corrosion from acids, alkalis, and organic solvents, and tolerate temperature fluctuations during operation.
Their primary function is to increase gas or liquid distribution points and to support and protect catalysts with relatively low mechanical strength. These products are widely used in petroleum, chemical, fertilizer, natural gas, and environmental protection industries.
